When and where is the New Year's Eve Dance party?
The party kicks off at 9:30pm on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 in the Atrium of the Old Ebbitt Grill, 675 15th Street, NW, Washington, DC, 20005.
Who is the DJ and what type of music will she be playing?
DJ Charity will be spinning a mix of House, Top 40s, 80s, 90s, Hip Hop, Indie and Oldies and creating the party atmosphere at the Ebbitt's New Year's Eve Dance Party. Charity is never complacent and is always finding ways to be more innovative and creative. She is extremely interactive with her crowd and doesn’t mind putting on a quick dance performance during her set to kick it up a notch. How do I buy tickets?
Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, December 2nd here on this website. Tickets are $99 each and include food, premium open bar, dancing to DJ Charity, midnight balloon drop with a champagne toast.
When will I get my tickets?
Actually, you won't be getting tickets at all. Your order WILL NOT be mailed to you. Instead, your tickets will be waiting for you at will call under your name on the day of the event. Please be prepared to provide a valid picture ID to pick up your tickets.
What if I can't make the Ebbitt NYE Dance Party or I need to give my ticket to someone else?
You may go to our Ticket Transfer Page and find the ticket(s) you would like to transfer by entering your e-mail address. In order to successfully transfer the ticket(s), you will receive an email in order to confirm the transfer. Upon confirmation, you and the new recipient will receive an email announcement the successful transfer.

What is the menu?
Our Executive Chef, Sal Ferro, has prepared a fun and seasonal selection of items for the party. Please see the "food and drink" tab of this website for actual menu items.
What should I wear?
It's New Year's Eve so dress the part! That said, there is no dress code. Come as casual or as formal as you'd like...just be there!
Is there seating?
Not really. While there are several small cocktail tables throughout the room, the Ebbitt NYE Dance Party is a standing room only cocktail party. Besides, you'll be too busy dancing to sit.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Probably not. We are selling a limited amount of tickets and when they are gone, they're gone.
Are tickets refundable?
No. Does Springsteen refund your tickets when your babysitter cancels at the last minute? Same rules apply for the NYE Dance Party. Your tickets are transferable and the details for the transfer are lsited above
Do I have to be 21 years old to attend?
Yes, due to the nature of the event, no one under 21 years of age will be admitted to the Old Ebbitt NYE Dance Party.
Is there parking?
Yes. The Ebbitt offers $10 valet parking. However, we also recommend that you use metro or stay at one of the great hotels around the Ebbitt. The Old Ebbitt Grill encourages safety and asks that you do not drink and drive.
